My comments to Russell:
Hello Russell. You are are my new hero. You are brilliant. Thank you so much for putting these informative videos up on the cultural toxic dump that has become social and mainstream media. If we seek than we shall find, thus my being lead to you gives me some hope for the medium. You are helping me, and those of us like us, who are seeking the next level of human existence. You pose, out loud, questions that many of us without an agenda have. You, like me and those of us like us, which I feel are many, are seeking and diving deeply through the muck and mire to evolve our humanity, our earth, our home. It is like we are percolating in the primordial ooze of technology once again. Thanks again, Russell, for using your face and your voice for the sheer love for the human being which many have forgotten. Peace and safety. k”
Some of my favorite points:
“It’s a not a conspiracy, it’s an agenda.”
“If you believe in the values of detachment…then why don’t you embody them and demonstrate them?”
“If I don’t own anything, then who does? Who controls the resources? Answer. The very people that control it now…the members of the World Economic Forum.” Comment from Markham White
“If something can’t be done forever and ever, it is not sustainable.” From the documentary film: A Life on our Planet by David Attenborough
“We have to change many of our practices and most of those practices are related in one way or another to profit.”
“Stop developing…never mind sustaining it. We want to improve things don’t we?”
Naomi Klein is the bomb! She’s going to get her own separate post. Stay tuned.
Memorable points. My comments in purple as usual:
“Control oil and you control nations, control food and you control people,” Henry Kissinger. What a fucked up thing to say, Henry Kissinger. What the hell are you talking about? Are you writing a play by play for Pinkie and the Brain?
Bill Gates owns 242,000 acres of farm land making him the top private farm land owner in the United States. His massive farmland portfolio covers 18 states.
Top Landowners own 33 million acres, up 18% since 2008, which represents more than 2% of the entire land mass in the United States. Some of America’s top farm land owners include:
Bill & Melinda Gates, 242,000 Acres
Jeff Bezos owns 420,000 acres, mostly in West Texas.
“Gates also has investments in GMO crops, seed patents, synthetic foods, artificial intelligence including robotic farm works, and commanding positions in Coca-Cola, Unilever, Philip Morris, Kraft, General Foods, Kellogg’s, Procter & Gamble and Amazon (Whole Foods), and in multinationals like Monsanto and Bayer that market chemical pesticides and petrochemical fertilizers. Gates also has massive stakes in all the oil majors: Exxon, Chevron, ConocoPhillips and Shell. He owns the world’s largest private jet company and has investments in coal-generating fleets including the Canadian National Railway and CSX Richmond. Bill Gates has giant stakes in Google, Apple, Amazon and Facebook and has given $350 million in grants to media outlets including NBC/Universal, BBC, NPR, Le Monde and The Guardian. Oh no, this is not disturbing at all because you are so good, Bill Gates. I know you’re thinking you’re doing a good job, but why am I getting visions of Thanos in Avengers Infinity War?
A lot of this information is taken from Bill Gates and Neo-Feudalism: A Closer Look at Farmer Bill. Source: The Defender
“Agricultural productivity is one of the most basic things that can help the poor move to a more prosperous life.” Not if you act like you are some kind of Jesus Christ taking their money and making them buy your GMO seeds, Bill Gates.
“We used to all have to go out and farm. We barely got enough food. When the weather was bad people would starve. Now through better seeds, fertilizer, lots of things, most people are not farmers. And so AI will bring us immense new productivity. What are the farmers going to do when you take away their livelihood, traditions and meaning, Bill Gates? Will they be sitting by the road starving and depressed like the people of the forest in the Amazon, while you and your friends hang out in your smart mansion?”
In 2006, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation launched the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa promising to double crop productivity and boost incomes for 30 million small farmers by 2020 while cutting food insecurity in half. A 2020 study called ‘False Promises: The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa‘ concludes that the number of Africans suffering from extreme hunger has increased by 30% in the 18 countries that Gates targeted. Rural poverty has metastasized dramatically, and the number of hungry people in these nations has risen to 131 million. Ahh…Not the right answer, Thanos, I mean Bill. ”
“Bill Gates put cameras and electronic sensors in the homes and fields of Indian farmers. He used their cell phones, which he gave them for free, and fiber optic and 5G installations which he persuaded the Indian Telecom Company to finance–to catalogue, study, and steal farmers’ crop data, indigenous practices, and agricultural knowledge for free. Then he sold it back to them as new data. Instead of digitally transforming farms as he promised, he transformed Indian farmers into digital information. He privatized their seeds and harvested the work of the public system. Naughty, naughty, Thanos. I’m glad Vandana Shiva is on your ass. Vandana, you go girl! Too bad Africa doesn’t have one like you.”
Why am I reminded of the people of the Amazon and deforestation? This is supposed to be the opposite of that but it is not. The common denominator? Big Business trying to be Jesus and profit in the name of progress.
Another question: Why not just give them money to help them develop the successful farms they need. Keep it small and local. Like why not just help them get the water or whatever technology they need and let them use their own fertilized seeds. They know what they’re doing. Heck, they’ve been doing it for tens of 1000’s of years. They don’t need you to tell them what to do, Bill. I mean when did you ever plant or grow, like anything in the dirt? Also, when A.I. is doing the farming, who’s getting the money? All this drama reduces whose poverty? I’ll tell you whose, yours Bill, yours.
